Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, parents are welcome! We have been preparing lots of fun activities and projects.  Our party will begin at 10.

Noon dismissal on Wednesday

Tests:
Math- multiplication facts 3, 4, and 6 on Thursday- study flashcards and play Fact Dash
Reading- comprehension assessment on Friday
Spelling- unit 17 on Friday

Events:
Guest speaker in class on Thursday afternoon.  Mrs. Johnson will be in to talk about her experiences over seas with the army. 


Reminders:
Wednesday our class store will be open, count up class money and be prepared to shop!
Friday is our celebration day for our class marble jar! Congratulations! Remember to bring a game to share for our free afternoon.

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  The educational field is a place that many people believe has not changed much over the years, in some ways this is true.  Classes of children come and go, the same subjects and curriculum is taught year after year by the same teachers.  What many people do not realize is the way that teachers interact with students and families has changed.  Technology has entered the classroom and is here to stay.  The internet has become a place full of resources, good ideas, and a place where people can share ideas with one another.  My goal here is to share with everyone my knowledge and understanding of children and how they learn.
